Nakasongola district is located in the heart of Uganda in central Uganda, towards the northern region. The distance is 116 km, about 2.5 hours drive. Nakasongola district is known for its peaceful and growing district in terms of interventions and industrial development. Nakasongola District was created in 1997. Prior to that it was part of Luweero District.
This peaceful district is home to St. Thomas Academy Secondary School, which is located in Wabinyonyi Sub County, after Wabigalo, about 2.5 km towards Nakasongola Town. The site is located 3 km south of the town of Nakasongola and 500 m west of the road connecting the Kampala-Gulu-Highway to Nakasongola town. St. Thomas Academy secondary school is around 1 km off the Kampala-Gulu-Highway.
