As one of the founder members of BBN Integrated Company Limited, am driven by the passion to contribute to the betterment of literary levels in this part of the third world. Aware that education is the key to success, I am determined to make a contribution however small it shall be in the education discipline.

Having acquired a Diploma in Education Secondary from one of the then a prestigious teacher training institution in Uganda - Institute of Teacher Education Kyambogo (ITEK), Way back in 1999. My specialty was Business Education, which I taught for many years with Distinction on a Government scheme.  I would now wish to pass on that knowledge practically in a private setting in Uganda.

Like John Dewey said "Education is not preparation for life, Education is life".

I implore all able good hearted people to provide life to the undeserved.  Support to BBN Integrated Company for which I am a proud founder member would be no mean sacrifice.

As an Administrator over the years, I would wish to associate myself with Victor Hugo who said " He who opens a school door, closes a prison."

It is gratifying to open a school since it unlocks unlimited potentials in humans.

Benno Luthiger

Born in Switzerland as the son of man working in development aid, I learned early on that there are huge differences in prosperity between different countries. In my economics degree, I learned that a country's prosperity has a lot to do with the resources it has at its disposal. Different countries have different and varying amounts of raw materials that they can use as resources. However, there is one resource that all countries can use. This is the productivity of the population. Only productive people can create values and contribute to the prosperity of a nation. For the population to be productive, it needs good means of production and a good education. The importance of good education is generally known and valid everywhere, in Switzerland as well as in Uganda. Accordingly, there is a demand for good education everywhere. In Switzerland, good education is guaranteed by the state. With the experience gained in Switzerland, BBN Integrated wants to offer good education in Uganda. As an investor and shareholder, I am convinced that there is a great demand for our offer in Uganda.

In my economics studies, I also learned that a company can only provide a good service in the long term if its employees are competent and well motivated. For us, this means that we want to provide students with a good learning environment and employees with a good working environment. With BBN Integrated, I now have the opportunity to test whether my theoretical findings are valid in practice in Uganda.
